Woodnook Showjumping Team Review

A big thank you to everyone who braved the Baltic (slightly dramatic) weather conditions on Sunday to represent the saddle club at Rockwood Harriers Team Jumping event at Woodnook.

Due to a few unfortunate last minute glitches we were down to 3 members in the novice; Elaine Wharton on Snoopy, new member Jo Booth on Piper and Bev Halstead on Royal. 2 double clears from Elaine and Jo but unfortunately Royal had read the schedule incorrectly and thought it was Team Chasing and not Team Jumping resulting in high speed rounds and so had a couple of knock downs.

Into the intermediate with Cher Cartwright on Sadat Con, Bev Halstead on Royal, Heather Morgan on Tabitha and Elaine kindly stepped in to fill the last place on Snoopy. Lovely double clears by Cher, Sadly last fence down in both rounds by Heather, Elaine got slightly lost on Snoopy and did an extra lap and again Royal thought he was Team Chasing and was most put out by the very scary filler going away from the café.

No placings this time however, everyone had a nice day and well done for coming in the freezing cold!
